Otaku (おたく / オタク) is a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime, manda, and video games. This is quite a huge movement in Japan, but thanks to stores like Project 1/6, the necessitate is met. International collectors count with the internet to adquire their most precious tresures, or the many toy stores around the world.
Many contemporary artists and designers from around the world have designed figures.
Such examples, include H.R. Giger, Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, Fendi, etc.
